HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

Just groomed all the Russian River Trails and a track has been set! I re-groomed the tire ruts left by some Christmas Grinch!!!

Great Skate and Classical Skiing

Just finished grooming the Russian River Campground Trails: Great Skate and Classical Skiing. A track has been set throughout. Please clean up after your dogs; there's poop-bags next to the main gate. Makes grooming a lot easier!!! Thanks!!!

Dec 17th update

All Russian River trails have been re-worked after someone drove thru the campground! Trails are in good shape for skate skiing and a track has been set for classical. There are dog-poop disposal bags located near the main gate. Fat tire bikers, snow shoers, and walkers, please use the right side of the groomed trails. Get out and enjoy the trails!!!!

All loops are groomed. Classic tracks on main road to Grayling and Red Salmon. Tire tracks repaired. Get out and enjoy the snow this weekend.

The Russian River Campground got its first comb of the season late last night. The snow is thin but it is there and you should be too. Happy Thanksgiving!

A durable base at the Russian River Campground doesn't mean good skiing yet. Stay tuned and stay hopeful.

Icy as everywhere at the Russian. Doable but use caution. The hills are harder and falls have more consequence.

WARM TEMPS BUT GOOD SKIING

Just finished grooming all RR Campground trails including the new trail. Even though temps are warm, great skate and classical skiing....FAST!!!!! Also, don't forget to take a look at the Winter Trail Guide in the yellow box attached to the check-in station. Also, please clean-up after your dog; makes grooming easier and skiing better. Brown clister doesn't work well. Thanks.....

All trails in the Russian River Campground plus the new trail have been groomed for skating and classical. Tracks set throughout. Walkers, showshoers; please stay to the side of the groomed trails opposite the set track. Thanks!!!!
