SPRING SKIING!!!

Just groomed the Russian River Campground trails today. Track has been set throughout. Great skate skiing. Best to hit the trails early in the morning when the snow is set up. Hopefully we'll be able to groom for a few more weeks!

RRCG Groomed today!

Russian River Campground Trails have been groomed through most of the campground loops and the main road into the Campground. A track has been set throughout. Good skate and classical skiing!!!

Only the main road saw the groomer today but look for loops to get a comb later this week. Tomorrow morning should be fast and firm if temps hold. Get your skate skis ready.

The new snow at the Russian River CG is rolled but still a little too soft for skating.

Head out with your classic skis this weekend and think cold thoughts so it will set up for good grooming.

There are a few inches of newer snow at the Russian but they rest, unbonded, on top of icy conditions.

Good enough to enjoy making some classic tracks with friends to find the sun.

Not good enough to groom without risk of equipment damage or just sweeping all the snow away.

All Russian River trails have been rolled and groomed after our last snow fall. Best to ski in the morning hours before temps get to high and trails become somewhat slushy!

Just finished grooming the Russian River Campground Loops. A classical track has been set throughout! Great skate and classical skiing. Don't forget to pick up after your dogs....poop bags are by the main gate. Walkers, please stay to the right of the groomed road. Enjoy sunny March weather!!!!

Main road to Grayling is groomed as are Chinook and Rainbow. Enjoy the weekend!
