End of the 2012 Ski Season

Well, it's that time of the year again. Even though there is snow throughout the Russian River Campground; the snow condition is a "mess"; really soft and mushy. Time to pull the grooming equipment out and store it for its "summer rest". Thanks to all the volunteers that made this ski season a success!!!! See ya next year when the snow flies!!!!

GREAT SPRING SKIING

Just groomed the Russian River Campground trails...Great, fast skate skiing. Try and hit it when the sun hits the trails, after 10 am. We'll keep grooming as long as conditions stay cool in the evenings. Enjoy some Vitamin D!!!

JUST GROOMED/SPRING IS HERE!!!

Just groomed the Russian River Campground Trails...Great spring skate skiing. Saw bear tracks in upper campground loop. Get out and enjoy the spring conditions. Not sure how much longer we'll be grooming!!

GREAT SPRING SKIING

Just groomed the Russian River Campground trails, including the new trail. Great skate skiing in the morning or early evening. Plenty of moose tracks up near Grayling and the upper loops but should be fine for some great spring skate skiing, especially the "new" trail to the left. We'll keep grooming as long as conditions are "workable"
